All these years he thought he was avenging his father. But now he knows he was a merely a puppet… and he wants revenge… My Thoughts: **I received the ebook copy from the author but this has not influenced my review or rating in any way. There are still tons of actions and suspense that will keep your eyes glued on this third book of the War Kids. I still have that book hangover from the second book so I was so thrilled to start this one. I expected this to be action-packed like the previous books from this series but I didn't expect and I wasn't prepared for the heartbreaking scenes! The conversation between Gerard and Jada then the final I love you between Ali and Kyra and Zak and Jada as they prepare themselves for the plane crash had made me literally cry. The most heartbreaking part was with what happened to Zak and I had to take a break after reading that. It was so unexpected and shocking! The plane crash, the shooting at the tunnel while rescuing Brandon and the other hostages, the panic and terror brought by the radioactive fallout, the mission to take over America, the revelation about Ethan's father, the attack of Jada, Ali, Gerard and along with police officers and the mob to the town where Abulafia's soldiers held their hostages including Faith and Kyra, the hand-to-hand combat between Jada and Junayd.... this read will get your heart racing. Most of the questions left by the book 2 weren't all answered in this sequel. Haytham's one of my favorite characters and it frustrates me not to know what happened to him and his family. Ugh! The ending was a cliffhanger! Abulafia was now on the scene and with Jada! This read will keep you thinking about the characters even after you've finished reading. This is a highly recommended read that won't disappoint you in giving that book hangover. Rating: 5 stars AVAILABLE ON AMAZON About the Author:
